“Twitter Inc. has acknowledged that after mobile users tap the “Find friends” feature on its smartphone app, the company downloads users’ entire address book, including names, email addresses and phone numbers, and keeps the data on its servers for 18 months.
The company also said it plans to update its apps to clarify that user contacts are being transmitted and stored. The company’s current privacy policy does not explicitly disclose that Twitter downloads and stores user address books.”

Sounds like Path was only the tip of the iceberg on this whole privacy thing.

Tonight I’m tagging along at my parents’ Minnesota Street Rod Association year-end banquet. With us is Mickelle, Ben, Amy, Nels and of course all their MSRA friends. They event invited a couple of the people who helped make their Custom Car of The Year nominated ‘54 Ford pickup dream a reality. I don’t know the exact number but if you’ve ever been to their largest event, Back to the 50’s, you know there have got to be over 500 vehicles in the MSRA. My parents’ truck was one of 7 nominated, and while they didn’t take home the grand prize, they did score and artist commissioned painting of their truck, and had the chance to finally celebrate years of work on this beauty.

We demo’d the second kitchen! Still have to take out the flooring and part of the wall to the right. But the bulk is done. Feels great to see the open space. We are going to do all the prep work, but not finish it until we do the rest of the big renovations. It feels great to be doing another project! :-)

THE ZIMMERMAN'S: NO VISITORS TODAY, PLEASE.

thezimmermans:

Morning all - this is Kassina, Tyler’s sister. Tyler had a great day yesterday but a restless night of sleep. We’re asking that we have no visitors today, not even family. Tyler looks great, is talking, etc. but with brain trauma, any sensation can be too much sensation. We will have someone…
